De Doekies

De Doekies started as a timekiller by three friends during boring classes at school. We were working in a team on our first php assignment, and rather to have a empty page at our fresh registered domain we decided to fill the frontpage up with a comic. The comic we put up there is Kill the php errors! that refers to the trouble we came across building a php website: errors!

Not long after the first, two other comics were made. During The big one! we continued to fix all the errors on our site before putting it live. But when we made Run for it! we were at the point of giving up. Just to much errors to handle!

Our little school project became a complete failure, at the end we worked everyday until 19:30 at school trying to fix it. But it only became worse. However our marketing for our website was worked out splendid. Everyone at school knew about our website and all were curious how the site looked. But the only thing we could show them were the three comics we made. We slowly started to be called De Doekies by our classmates, which we later on named our comic after.

Now we try to update our comics as much as possible with random things. There is not a real storyline going in this strip. However there are a few comics that are related with each other. We still have a lot of fun making the comics and we continue updating until we say otherwise. So if we dont update the comic for a few months (Which never going to happen anyway) dont panic, unless we made a comic or page about us quiting.
